Feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to (someone)       7 Types of Love    Eros  = Eros is sexual or passionate love, and is the type most akin to our modern construct of romantic love. The term "erotic" is derived from Eros.    Philia  = The hallmark of philia, or friendship, is shared goodwill. Consider Philia or Philadelphia as brotherly love.    Storge  = From ancient Greek. Familial Love refers to natural or instinctual affection such as the love of a parent towards offspring.    Agape  = From ancient Greek or Greco-Christain term referring to love.
