Embrace Simplicity - Dial Down the Noise

I'd like to make a point on how important it is that you are careful when comparing yourself to other people. It's easy to get caught up in the "feeling" as if we are not progressing based on a surface view of what we may think others are doing within their own lives. This Is A Lie and A Trap!

The over exposure of entertainment in our culture has us brainwashed into confusing our WANTS with our NEEDS. It has also set a standard of beauty that is so unrealistic that there is, in my opinion a mass epidemic of Self-Mutilation that is encouraged on a grand scale.

DIAL DOWN the NOISE 

When we are on our way to becoming our true self, in the process we learn to focus our thoughts and behavior in an increasingly deliberate manner. There will be many challenges to becoming your true self, many of which will be other people. All other outside voices and influential distractions will need to be dialed down to a minimum. This does not mean you are to ignore input from designated mentors and positive influences but be far more selective on who's words you allow to bounce around in your head. We have to dial down the outside noise by removing negative influences and circumstances. This must become a lifestyle. The less garbage coming in the less garbage we put out to the world which will then reduce the negative day to day anxiety we are accustomed to living with. Let's become unaccustomed to anxiety and stress.

☆ Use Your Inner Gauge: If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck.....

There was no misinterpretation when you were blasted with those under the breath jabs and 'Backhanded Complements'. Yes, that persons intent was to hurt and belittle you. Avoid toxic people. They will ruin your focus because the last thing they want is for you to win. Be careful who you share your dreams with. You will need to be the person of character who is patient, intuitive and accepting of the fact that people who are not like you may not ever understand your point of view or life perspective. Some people may actually feel threatened by your independence and determination. Never let the words of others derail your dreams. Never let their doubt become yours.
